Memaw’s Christmas Sugar Cookies. Finally got the energy up to make them with the Grandson who is 3. No, I did not attempt to make them with the 1 year old, but I did let her help frost them!!! They turned out perfect and thanks to my Daughter-in-law, Jake did great!!! She lets him help in the kitchen so he actually knew what to do with a rolling pin! Here’s the photos of him doing the same pose as his Dad many years ago. He thought this was cool! Here’s the recipe again for anyone who wants to give it a go with kids or grandkids. My little hint is to make sure to use plenty of flower and cover whatever surface you are using with plastic wrap.
