When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a fluffy, gray miniature donkey walking down the driveway! Oh, yes he did, not sure how since the latch was down and the carabiner was still in place, but he did! After 15 minutes of talking sweet while holding fresh cantelope under his nose only to have him stop at the threshold of the gate, my patience had worn out! I let out a scream, slapped him on the ass and in he ran, tail tucked between his legs! Nothing like having your “ass” interrupt the merriment of Christmas decorating!!
