On the Clock

jose noseThis weekend begins the annual change to Daylight Saving Time for those that live by a formal clock. Most people enjoy the benefits of more daylight at the end of the day for walks and play. It can be hard for them to adjust to new sleeping patterns. It is also difficult for my stomach to adjust to a change in my feeding habits. I will give Charlie and Kris a day or two before I complain. I do not understand humans’ fascination with time and clocks. The sun and change of seasons are my indications of time. Nature is my only clock. Time does seem to move more slowly and sweetly on my mountain. I think the goats, chickens, and friends have the right idea. Come to the mountain where time slows. You may decide that you don’t want to leave. I will be here. Please take the time to stop by and say hello.
