Hi! Ho! Jose’ here at The Secret Bed and Breakfast! It sure was a hot weekend here,but somehow Kris has managed to get the flies under control at least! She got some stuff that she came after the goats and I with, she called it a spray but it felt more like it was raining on me! She’s quite tricky, she had a carrot in her hand so I followed her into the barn. I knew I was in trouble when she shut the door!! It didn’t take long, and it didn’t hurt so I guess I shouldn’t complain. And, the flies have been leaving us alone!
She also got these jugs that she has hung up that is suppose to trap them. All I know is that they sure do smell bad!!! And that’s coming from a donkey who lives with smelly chickens and goats!
As a side note, when Kris came out to see us on Thursday her eye was a funny color. It looked pretty black and blue. She told me she got into a head butting contest with a horse. Now, I’m a pretty smart donkey and even I know that a horse head is bigger than hers!! Although, I’m not brave enough to challenge her even though my head is bigger too!!!
